
CoD4 Server: Custom Maps

Hi all you CoD4 gamers. We here at Clanwarz has completed a batch copy of the following maps to the redirect and all server boxes. Below is the list of the avail custom maps that you can use. These maps has already been loaded on the redirect.
mp_burck mp_camp mp_desertfence_beta mp_ogjunkyard mp_pst_devilslair mp_pst_hilltofar mp_rubberaim mp_subway_beta mp_tlotd_airbase mp_tlotd_the_blood_forest mp_village mp_warehouse
To use these maps you will have to create a user folder in your cod4 root. Click on your file manager, if you have the usermaps folder then you can load the maps into the folder. If you dont have a usermaps folder then create it.
The proper map install is follows:
cod4 root > usermaps > map folder name > map
The map folder name must match the map name.
2 maps that require a additional step is mp_warehouse and mp_camp. In these map folders you will see a .iwd file. To use these 2 maps you must copy the .iwd file to the MOD folder that you are using. Example if you are using the ace15 mod then copy the .iwd to the ace15 mod folder. I have already updated the redirect with this and you need to do nothing there. Just on your server do you have to do this. I did NOT do this for "competition" mods and custom mod folders. Do NOT copy these files to the competition mod folders, if you are using a custom mod folder then it is up to you on weither to use these 2 maps or not.
NOTE: If you use mp_camp and mp_village there is a possibility that the game will hang. This is because of the map .iwd file being in the mod folder. Just leave the game then reconnect to the server. This will clear up the hanging issue if it happens.
Patch 1.5 status is ATVI is currently testing this patch for quality assurance on the ATVI test server. I have no idea on when to expect it but I was told expect it soon.
